I am a huge fan of all of these foam puzzle books. They're awesome! My baby is now 20 months old and loves them just as much as he did when he was three months old. We have 5 of them. They are soft and durable with no small parts. The only thing I was bummed about is that they don't stay open by themselves. So anytime my baby plays with them I have to sit with him and help him hold it open. That's not a very big deal though and I still give it 5 stars! I also have used a wet rag to clean ours off when they get food and grime on them from messy baby hands, they clean up very easily. They make really great shower and baby gifts.Product details

I love these books and so does my grandson! He loves to take out the pieces while being read to. Great idea!
Cute book but I didn't realize before purchasing that this book was not for children who will chew on it. So my 4 month old teething infant will have to wait awhile before using this book unless sitting in my lap.
Soft shape books are great! We have 7 or 8 of them. My DS is 7months and loves chewing on them, and pulling the shapes out. Bright and colorful, they attract and hold baby's attention. And they're not so long of a story that baby gets bored. For the price and quality, it's a good buy.
I love these soft shapes books. The reading is simple and fun and my 12 month old loves to take the shapes out and put them back in the book. We stick them to the wall of the tub during bath time too. Sometimes he carries the shapes around the house putting them here and there then picking them up again. I think we will have a lot of fun with these books for a long time. I dry the pieces and the book off with a towel and let them sit separately overnight to dry before putting the pieces back in. I'm afraid of mildew ruining the book or pieces, especially since my son still puts everything in his mouth. So far no mildew. But if this book does get dirty I would purchase it again or get another in the series to replace it. I am also going to make them my regular gift for new moms or first birthday. I had never seen these or puzzle books before and LOVE them!!
I got this book for my daughter when she was 12 months, now she is 20months old, and still loves it.
She uses it as a book, as a puzzle (you can take out all the animals and then put them back - nice dexterity exercice for your little one!), and as a bath toy.
Our holds up very well, does not come apart - as other reviewers said about theirs. I guess it depends how you care for your product, and how your child handles it.
A great toy to teach your toddler shapes and animals, tell stories, play in the bath...
Fun and cute for the baby. She loves the feel of the foam pages and cut-outs, and it isn't destroyed like the other books when she chews on it.
We haven't had a problem like some other reviewers with her (or us), tearing up the cover page trying to get the turtle off. It is raised a little but it just gives it dimension and the other shapes are easy to get out and they also sit flush with the pages.
We love it and plan to get more in the series.
My one year old loves these books. They're a great starting point for young children to learn how to use puzzles. The best part is that they're sturdy foam. My daughter is teething and constantly has the pieces in her mouth. We've had ours for awhile and they have shown no signs of deterioration, even with her chomping on them constantly. When I read a review recently about using them in the bathtub and how they stick to the tub walls, that was an even better perk. It has greatly enhanced bath time for sure and the pieces dry in about an hour so they can be used in the puzzle book again. Great product.
